Head of Indirect Sales

As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Head of Indirect Sales to accelerate our growth through two strategic distribution channels and build a scalable, high-performing indirect organization.

About the role:

As Head of Indirect Sales, you will lead and scale myPOS’s indirect sales strategy across two complementary distribution networks:

1) Reseller Channel (partners / resellers), typically driven through strategic partnership development and commercial agreements

2) Consultant Channel (self-employed field sales representatives), led through a regional team of Territory Managers

This is a senior leadership role with a high level of responsibility, combining strategic direction, multi-channel execution, and cross-functional management (marketing, operations support, training, recruitment).

Your mission is to maximize growth, performance, and profitability through indirect distribution, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and a consistent customer experience across all partner-driven routes to market.

What you’ll do:

Lead the Indirect Sales Strategy (Resellers + Consultants )

  • Define and execute the overall Indirect Sales strategy, aligned with country and group objectives.

  • Build a scalable and profitable growth model across both channels: acquisition, activation, performance, retention.

  • Translate business objectives into clear operational plans, targets, and KPIs per channel.

Drive growth through the Reseller Channel (Partnership-led distribution)

  • Oversee the full partnership lifecycle: sourcing → onboarding → activation → performance management → optimization.

  • Lead commercial negotiations, business cases, and contractual terms (in collaboration with Legal / Finance).

  • Ensure strong partner engagement through structured governance, business reviews, and joint go-to-market execution.

  • Develop strategic alliances (ISVs, platforms, marketplaces, SaaS ecosystems, distribution partners, etc.) where relevant.

Drive regional execution through the Consultant Channel (Field Sales network)

  • Lead the structure and performance of the Consultant Channel via Territory Managers.

  • Ensure recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and development of self-employed Field Sales Representatives at scale.

  • Build a strong sales culture focused on execution, discipline, and consistent performance across territories.

  • Monitor pipeline quality, conversion, productivity, and regional performance trends.

Lead and develop your management team

  • Directly manage and coach: Partnership Manager(s), Territory Managers, Indirect Marketing resources, Operations support resources, Training managers, Recruiters dedicated to indirect channels.

  • Create clarity in roles, processes, and accountability.

  • Drive leadership cadence: weekly performance reviews, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning.

Ensure operational excellence & cross-functional alignment

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Risk/Compliance, Finance, Legal, and Customer Support to ensure smooth execution.

  • Ensure territory management, prioritization, and correct segmentation of target merchants.

  • Standardize onboarding processes, training pathways, and performance routines across channels.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements.

Performance management & reporting

  • Own indirect sales forecasting, performance reporting, and executive updates.

  • Identify trends and performance drivers through data and create actionable improvement plans.

  • Optimize ROI across channels (cost of acquisition, productivity, activation rate, retention).

Brand visibility & representation

  • Represent myPOS externally through key meetings, partner events, industry networking, and major client opportunities.

  • Strengthen myPOS positioning in the market via indirect distribution

Key success metrics (KPIs)

  • Indirect revenue growth (monthly / quarterly / yearly)

  • Active merchants acquired via indirect channels

  • Activation rate (partners & consultants)

  • Productivity per reseller / per consultant / per territory

  • Conversion rate (lead → signed → activated)

  • Retention / churn of acquired merchants

  • Recruitment output (consultants & partner growth)

  • Training completion and ramp-up speed

  • Forecast accuracy and pipeline health

  • Compliance and operational quality indicators

This role is perfect for you if you have:

  • Proven leadership experience in Indirect Sales / Channel Sales / Partnerships / Field Sales leadership, ideally in fintech, payments, telecoms, SaaS, or technology.

  • Strong track record of delivering growth through multi-channel distribution models.

  • Experience managing regionally dispersed teams and/or networks of self-employed sales professionals.

  • Solid commercial acumen: negotiation, pricing, profitability, performance steering.

  • Ability to build structure: processes, KPIs, cadence, governance, and execution discipline.

  • Strong communication and leadership style that demonstrates authority, commitment, consistency, and inspires trust.

  • Ability to collaborate across departments and align stakeholders around execution.

  • Fluent in English (mandatory)

  • Native local language (French)
