Vos missions

1. Complete Backtesting Tool Development : Design, implement, and optimize robust Python-based backtesting tools to validate our various optimization strategies under different market conditions. You will be responsible for the complete cycle, from design to production deployment.
2. Blockchain Data Analysis & Processing : Develop efficient pipelines to collect and analyze historical and real-time data from liquidity pools. Optimize pipeline performance to ensure fast and reliable analysis.
3. Quantitative Algorithm Implementation : Translate complex mathematical models into performant Python code for different optimization objectives. Create modular, reusable components that can be combined to address specific pool characteristics.
4. Production Deployment & Monitoring : Ensure the deployment and monitoring of strategies in production environments. Develop monitoring systems to guarantee strategy performance and stability.
5. Research & Innovation : Contribute to the continuous improvement of our algorithmic infrastructure and the exploration of new approaches to maintain our competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving market.

Vos compétences

1. Strong Mathematics & Statistics Skills : Deep understanding of quantitative models, applied statistics, and financial mathematics essential for modeling and optimizing DeFi strategies.
2. In-depth Knowledge of DeFi Mechanisms : Advanced understanding of liquidity pools, impermanent loss, and protocols like Uniswap v3, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practical models.
3. Object-Oriented Programming Expertise : Advanced proficiency in Python and OOP paradigms, with demonstrated ability to write optimized, modular, and high-performance code. Deep experience with performance optimization and profiling techniques.
4. End-to-End Backtesting & Deployment Experience : Having led at least one backtesting project from initial design to production deployment, including performance optimization. Proven ability to create reliable systems that work in real-world conditions.
5. Paris Location : Availability to work at Station F, or ability to come there at least once every two weeks.

Programming Skills

• Advanced mastery of Python, with particular expertise in object-oriented programming and performance optimization
• Deep experience with data science libraries (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scipy) and ability to optimize their use for large datasets
• Skills in parallelization and distributed computing to accelerate intensive processing
• Experience with databases for efficient storage and retrieval of time-series data
• Ability to write clean, documented, and testable code

Personal Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in DeFi, quantitative finance, or data engineering
• Demonstrated ability to deliver concrete results quickly and iterate efficiently
• Strong autonomy and ability to take initiative in a rapidly evolving environment
• Analytical rigor and attention to detail, essential for developing reliable financial algorithms
• Excellent communicator capable of explaining complex technical concepts
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and market changes
• Fluency in technical English (written and spoken)
