You will be responsible for defining comprehensive test plans to validate the software, implementing automated tests, and integrating them into the continuous validation process. You will also be required to manually test the software suite on an ongoing basis and ahead of official releases, with the goal of suggesting improvements, reporting bugs, and supplementing/strengthening automated tests.Your main responsibilities will be:Propose and write, in collaboration with developers and other validation engineers, complete test plans to cover all product featuresDevelop automated tests in PythonKeep tests up to date as the product and its features evolveManually validate the software ahead of each official releaseReport bugs quickly to the development teamContinuously suggest improvements to the user experience and other aspects of the productRequired Experience and Qualifications:5+ years of experience in QA (software quality validation) or software development in production3+ years of experience in Python development or another object-oriented programming languageAbility to write technical documents (English required)Nice to have:Proficiency with JIRA/X-Ray/JenkinsExperience with Squish or similar testing platformsExperience with the Qt framework or similarExperience in the semiconductor industryExperience using EDA (Electronic Design Automation) softwareRequired EducationDegree in Computer Science/Electronics EngineeringProficiency in English and French a plusAbout ArterisArteris is a leading provider of system IP for accelerating system-on-chip (SoC) development in today’s electronic systems.
