Discover the Role
The Legal Assistant will handle all legal and administrative matters related to client companies and is able to maintain and develop relationships with domestic and foreign advisors, banks, and shareholders, taking into account the existing procedures of TMF Group.
The candidate is part of a dedicated legal client team and has delegated responsibility for keeping client files in good legal standing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Legal team with administrative tasks;
- Se rve as a central point of contact for correspondence with clients, banks, notaries, and other relevant parties;
- Handle day-to-day legal and corporate matters for client companies under the supervision of the Legal Team, such as incorporations, liquidations, annual shareholder meetings, board meetings, share purchases, etc.;
- Manage registrations with the Commercial Court and other relevant authorities.
- TMF acts as a director for client companies either in a personal or corporate capacity. The candidate will support the current director, who acts in this capacity, with the review and signature of documents, as well as the organization and administration of signed documents.
- Provide support for Directorship clients (including review of documents and coordination of signatures) and assist in keeping procedures up to date for these clients.
- The candidate will handle the administrative tasks of the Compliance department. They are, together with the Compliance Officer, responsible for maintaining compliance files in good standing. The Assistant supports the administrative activities of the TMF Office in France.
- Execute any activities necessary to ensure TMF and its clients comply with TMF’s compliance process es.
Key Requirements
- Currently doing a master degree in law;
- Very good command of English and French, both written and spoken;
- Demonstrates strong teamwork skills;
- Flexible attitude;
- Pragmatic, proactive, and service-oriented approach;
- Able to work effectively in high-pressure situations;
- a first experience in this field will be considered a plus.
