ML Engineer - 6-months internship from September 2025

What we’re building at Continuity

We develop AI systems that help insurers better understand and manage risk, so they can offer coverage tailored to the businesses they protect.
We're now beginning a full transformation of one of our key product modules into a fully agentic system, and we're looking for a Machine Learning / AI Engineer to help design the intelligent agents at its core.

Main responsibilities

• Explore explainable reasoning chains for underwriting risks identification
• Develop AI agents capable of automatically detect insurance misrepresented risk
• Design robust architectures to process multiple data sources (web scraping, document analysis, geospatial data, etc)
• Collaborate with product and R&D teams to prototype and deploy high-impact features
• Contribute to the tech roadmap and strategic product decisions

What we’re looking for

• A solid technical foundation in machine learning and/or data science (Python, Pytorch, HuggingFace, etc.)
• A passion for experimentation, autonomy, and collaborative work
• Product awareness: you care about the purpose behind what you build
• Bonus: familiarity with LLMs, agentic architectures, web scraping, MLOps, or insurance (but not mandatory!)
