Your Job

As Group Chief Accountant, you will be the guardian of the group's financial health and compliance. You will oversee the entire accounting and financial cycle with a focus on continuous improvement.

To specify :

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Working with the FP&A team to oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS when applicable and local GAAP).
• Reviewing general ledger entries and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.

Month-End & Year-End Close

• Leading the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Managing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Supporting audit processes and providing necessary documentation to internal and external auditors.

Tax Compliance

• Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and submission of all required tax filings (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax).
• Coordinating with external tax advisors and authorities.
• Supporting transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions where applicable.

Treasury Management

• Overseeing cash management to ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations.
• Managing banking relationships, including credit lines and factoring.
• Monitoring cash flows and implementing strategies to optimize working capital and manage foreign exchange exposure.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Maintaining and enhancing internal controls over financial, tax, and treasury reporting.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve accounting processes and system efficiencies (ERP).

Consolidation & Team Management

• Working with external advisors on the annual consolidation of the group's accounts.
• Supervising, training, and developing accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Your profile for this job

• You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced or international environment.
• You have a strong command of accounting standards and tax regulations (IFRS/local GAAP).
• You are proficient in SAGE 1000 and other financial reporting tools.
• You have proven experience in managing and developing a team .
• You are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of handling complex financial data .
• You have a problem-solving mindset and a strong ability to optimize processes.
• You are a clear and effective communicator , capable of collaborating with various stakeholders.
• You have a keen interest in digital transformation and automation within finance.

Bonus points if:

• You have experience in the AdTech or digital sector .
• You are familiar with ERP systems and automation tools .
• You have worked in a multi-entity, international environment .
