Lead Data Analyst
Senior Data & AI Platform Specialist (Microsoft Fabric + GenAI)
Contract | 12 months + extension | Paris, 3 days onsite / 2 remote | Up to €800/day | Start 2 Dec 2026 or 4 Jan 2027
The role
A bank in Paris is looking for a senior, hands-on data specialist to shape and deliver new data products and AI capabilities on its Microsoft Fabric platform. You’ll dig into the data estate, find gaps and opportunities, and turn them into working solutions: reporting, reusable data assets and AI-powered tools that make the data more useful across the business.
What you’ll do
- Design new datasets, semantic models, KPIs and Power BI reporting from business and technical requirements
- Identify and build AI use cases on Fabric using Claude and Microsoft Copilot, including anomaly detection, reconciliation, classification and intelligent data processing
- Use AI to improve metadata enrichment, semantic discovery and information retrieval
- Build reusable AI services, accelerators and platform components that work across multiple business areas
- Define data quality, lineage and control requirements for new capabilities
- Write functional specifications, technical designs and prototypes
- Work with business analysts, SMEs, data engineers and architects to shape the platform roadmap
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years in BI, data product delivery or data platform work
- Advanced SQL and strong data modelling
- Solid Power BI and Microsoft Fabric experience
- Hands-on delivery of AI-enabled data solutions with Claude and/or Copilot (real use cases, not just pilots)
- Strong grasp of data quality, governance and metadata management
- Comfortable working autonomously and explaining technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent English or French, with working knowledge of the other
Nice to have
- Banking or financial services experience
- Experience defining future-state platform architecture and data strategy
