Software Engineer - Internal Tools

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of internal tools used across Prelude.
• Build production agentic AI workflows for fraud review, customer support triage, go-to-market workflows, operations dashboards, and other internal processes.
• Work directly with stakeholders to identify operational friction and turn it into reliable software solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate AI engineering tools and establish internal standards for their use.
• Contribute to shared infrastructure, schemas, and APIs across the engineering organization.
• Build internal dashboards using data from DynamoDB, ClickHouse, and Postgres.
• Participate in on-call rotations for the internal platform.

Requirements

• Professional software engineering experience shipping reliable software in fast-paced environments.
• Production experience shipping automated workflows and AI-powered tools using n8n, Dust, custom LLM pipelines, or equivalent.
• Experience building for internal users with a focus on reliability and usable experiences.
• Strong backend development skills in Go or TypeScript, including designing reliable APIs and services.
• Full-stack capability with React and the underlying data and serverless layers, including DynamoDB, SQS, and Lambdas.
• Ability to work directly with non-engineering stakeholders and focus development on business outcomes.
• Fluent or professional English.
• Experience with developer experience or platform engineering is preferred.
• Familiarity with fintech, identity, fraud, or another regulated or high-stakes domain is preferred.
• Experience integrating common SaaS APIs for CRM, billing, support, or data warehousing is preferred.
• Rust, gRPC, and AWS serverless experience are preferred.
