Ledger & Banking Operator
Job description:
Within the Payment operations team, based in Paris, you will participate in accurate and timely execution of day-to-day operational activities such as banking ledger tasks, account closure management, as well as supporting customers and internal stakeholders with inquiries about bank transfer processing.
This role is a 6 months temporary (CDD) contract.Key responsibilities:
Monitor daily banking ledger and account transactions: execute funds segregation, process reconciliation, manual corrections and adjustments;
Investigate anomalies with Finance and Technical Engineering; coordinate with external banking partners to unblock edge cases and resolve operational issues.
Daily support customers and internal users: investigate rejected/failed missing or delayed bank transfers, manage the account closure requests
Adhere to operating procedures and SLAs; maintain accurate records; escalate bugs, risks or blockers promptly. Ensure clear communication, timely documentation, and proper archiving.
Contribute to ad‑hoc operational tasks if needed.
What we're looking for :
Essential requirements
1–2 years’ experience in banking operations, finance, or payments
High rigour and attention to detail
Fast learner, comfortable adopting new tools and evolving processes
Technical skills
Confirmed experience in ledger processing, working knowledge of SEPA
Used to back-office systems and ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA/Intercom/Zendesk)
Experience with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets
Core competencies
Autonomous, organised, and reliable; knows to manage the priorities and respect SLAs
Collaborative across internal teams and external partners
Analytical problem-solver; knows when to escalate
Clear, concise communication in FR/EN with customers, internal and external stakeholders
