Plato is building the OS for litigation lawyers.
With GenAI, the legal industry is on the verge of a major transformation. Litigation lawyers are overwhelmed by complex and repetitive tasks: complex damages calculations, thousands of documents to review, days spent drafting legal documents, and more.
Our mission: Build the leading OS for litigation lawyers , enabling lawyers to spend 10x less time on administrative and operational work , and focus instead on strategy.
Plato already supports around 15 law firms and 1 major insurance’s legal team specialized in personal injury, who use our solution daily to manage hundreds of active cases.
Founded in January 2026 by Ben (CEO) and Alexandre (CTO), we are backed by Hexa (formerly eFounders), Europe’s leading startup studio. Hexa has launched over 35 companies, including unicorns such as Front, Aircall, and Spendesk, collectively generating more than €230M in ARR and raising over €750M in funding.
Plato is already live with real users and real data, solving concrete legal workflows in production. We’re now entering a key building phase and looking for someone ready to take real ownership and help shape the product, go-to-market strategy, and sales culture from day one.
Your mission
We're looking for our Founding Sales to work hand-in-hand with Ben, Co-founder & CEO.
You'll own the entire sales cycle, bringing Plato's AI platform to litigation law firms across France.
This is a high-impact execution role . You'll build pipeline, close deals, and work closely with the founders to continuously improve our messaging, sales playbook and product.
Your objective during your first six months will be to close around 30 new law firms while helping us build a repeatable commercial engine.
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle: From outbound prospecting to closing, you'll take ownership of every step of the sales process.
Build pipeline: Generate opportunities through outbound and qualified inbound leads.
Close deals: Sell directly to partners and decision-makers in litigation law firms.
Improve our GTM: Work closely with the founders to continuously refine our messaging, positioning and sales playbook.
Shape the product: Bring structured customer feedback to help prioritize product improvements.
This role is for you if
You’re an experienced, ambitious sales professional who enjoys building processes from scratch and owning the revenue pipeline end-to-end.
You like working close to founders, making pragmatic strategic decisions, and closing deals in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Have a successful experience closing B2B SaaS deals, ideally selling complex software to demanding customers, closing B2B SaaS deals, ideally in legal tech or complex enterprise software.
Native French speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Are comfortable owning a full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting to closing.
Have a strong business mindset: you care about understanding the client's core problems and demonstrating ROI.
Are pragmatic in execution: you know how to navigate complex organizations to find the decision maker.
Are energized by early-stage ambiguity and taking ownership alongside technical founders.
Bonus points if you have developed a strong understanding of the French legal ecosystem or you have an existing network in the legal industry (lawyers, law firms, insurers).
