Data Migration Engineer - Azure Data Factory (SAP/Salesforce) | English + French or Dutch

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Data Migration Engineer - Azure Data Factory (SAP/Salesforce)

We are looking for a Technical Analyst with proven expertise in data migration and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to join our client's projects in Brussels in the energy & utilities domain.
The mission involves supporting data migration from SAP and Salesforce to Kaluza , designing and implementing ADF migration flows, and testing to ensure a qualitative data migration .

In this role, you will:
  • Support data migration from SAP and Salesforce to Kaluza .
  • Design and develop migration flows in ADF (Azure Data Factory) .
  • Test and deliver a high-quality data migration.
YOUR TASKS
  • Analyse source and target data models and map transformation rules.
  • Build and orchestrate ETL pipelines in ADF for ingestion and transformation.
  • Implement ingestion mechanisms (e.g., REST APIs , Kafka ).
  • Define and execute data quality checks and testing procedures.
  • Document flows, mappings and operating procedures; collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Specific expertise (mandatory):
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF) - 3 to 5 years
  • Designing ETL processes - 3 to 5 years
  • SQL & Scripting - 3 to 5 years
  • Ingestion mechanisms (e.g., REST APIs , Kafka ) - 5 to 8 years
  • Data Governance & Quality - < 3 years
  • Data Migrations & Testing - < 3 years
  • Understanding of Kaluza data model
  • Understanding of SAP data model
  • Understanding of Salesforce (SF) data model
LANGUAGES:
  • English - fluent (mandatory) both spoken and written ≥ B2
  • Dutch or French - as a secondary language ≥ B1
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Contract type: Freelance
  • Start date: 24/11/2025
  • Location: Brussels, Belgium
  • Work mode: 2 days per week on-site in Brussels, Belgium
  • Relocation: Relocation is required for candidates who do not yet reside in Belgium or its border region.
  • Eligibility: Open to EU citizens and non-EU citizens already residing in the EU with a valid work permit .
