Customer Success Manager - French Market 🇫🇷

We're now looking for a French-speaking Customer Success Manager to join our Paris team and own the relationship with our French clients.

You'll be the strategic partner our French clients rely on. This is not a support role - it's a business partner role. Your job is to make sure they get real, measurable value from Spendesk, stay with us, and grow with us. You'll inherit an established portfolio on one of our biggest and most historical markets, and your job is to take it to the next level.

Own your client relationships

• Build strong, trusted partnerships with Finance Managers, CFOs and key decision-makers across the French market

• Proactively advise clients on best practices and platform optimisation, anticipate their needs before they even ask

• Drive deep adoption and ensure every client extracts real, measurable value from Spendesk from day one

• Lead structured business reviews and co-build success plans aligned with client goals

Protect and grow revenue

• Monitor account health proactively and act early to mitigate churn risk - don't wait for the red flag

• Identify expansion and upsell opportunities and partner with Sales to convert them

• Maintain high NPS and customer satisfaction across your portfolio

• Contribute to net revenue retention through strategic account management

Be the voice of your customers internally

• Relay structured, actionable feedback to Product and Marketing teams

• Contribute to the launch and adoption of new features within your customer segments

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Product to ensure a seamless client experience

What we're looking for

Must-have

• French - native level, mandatory

• Professional English - working proficiency (our team is international)

• 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (CSM, Account Management, Financial Advisory...), you've been around the block and you know how to manage a portfolio with autonomy

• A genuinely consultative mindset: you advise, anticipate and add value - you don't just answer tickets

• Strong ownership: you manage your portfolio independently and know how to get things done

• Analytical thinking: you use data to spot risks and opportunities early and make informed decisions

• Passion for customer experience and building long-term, trust-based relationships

⭐ Strong plus

• Background in Finance, Accounting, Fintech, ERP or SaaS - if you already speak the language of Finance teams and CFOs, you'll hit the ground running

• Experience managing a mid-market portfolio (100-1,000 employee companies)

• Familiarity with tools like Gainsight, Salesforce, or similar CS platforms
