Product owner Purview

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 professional with hands-on experience in Microsoft Purview to lead the deployment and optimisation of data protection and compliance tools across the organisation. This role will focus on aligning governance and risk management capabilities with business objectives and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Define and maintain the roadmap for Microsoft Purview in collaboration with team leads and data governance stakeholders Manage access controls and permissions, ensuring adherence to least privilege principles Administer role groups and time-bound access via Entra ID Act as the subject matter expert for Purview, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience for end users Provide integration guidance between Purview and other enterprise platforms Support documentation efforts as part of validation and compliance processes Contribute to broader team initiatives beyond Purview when needed Required Skills: Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (e.g. SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online) Proven track record in deploying and managing Microsoft Purview modules (e.g. Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to produce clear and structured documentation Service-oriented mindset with a focus on user experience and business value Familiarity with data analysis, sustainability, and risk management practices Experience in project coordination and change enablement Willingness to support other compliance or governance-related projects within the team As an international IT services company, Halian have worked hard for 20 years to understand the issues that keep our customers awake at night and to create the answers that make their lives a little easier.
