Cost Controller

negotiableFrance Ile De France ParisContract Oil & Gas NES Fircroft is supporting a major offshore energy development and is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join a high-profile project controls team based in Paris, France. This role will play a key part in supporting project cost engineering activities, ensuring budget performance is accurately monitored, forecasted, and reported across major project packages. Working within a dedicated cost control team, you will contribute to successful project delivery by helping maintain financial visibility and effective cost management throughout execution. Key ResponsibilitiesManage cost control activities for major project packages.Maintain forecast profiles using Value of Work Done (VOWD) methodology.Lead monthly cost review meetings with project stakeholders.Support monthly accruals and contract-level forecasting.Produce cost reports, phasing profiles, and variance analysis.Assess cost impacts associated with project changes.Maintain change control data within Cleopatra.Coordinate with Contracts and Procurement teams.Ensure accurate cost data mapping between SAP and Cleopatra.Support re-baselining exercises, risk analysis, and reporting requirementsWhat We're Looking ForStrong experience in cost control, cost engineering, or project controls.Experience working on large-scale industrial, energy, or offshore projects.Proven forecasting, reporting, and cost analysis capability.Knowledge of change management processes and cost impact assessments.Experience using SAP and ideally Cleopatra.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Ability to work effectively within complex project environments.
