Area Sales Manager - EMEA F/M - Life Sciences (IVD)
CDG Conseil, a consulting firm specializing in recruitment, assessment, and coaching for the healthcare industry, is seeking on behalf of one of its clients in IVD, an Area Sales Manager F/M to lead partner network development and revenue growth across the EMEA region, with a focus on Eastern Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
- Distributors portfolio Leadership
- Identify and engage high-potential distributors and partners in the region
- Implement partner onboarding and enablement programs to drive performance
- Serve as the main point of contact for all channel-related initiatives and support
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute regional commercial strategies aligned with global objectives
- Establish multi-year sales development plans, focusing on sustainable growth
- Manage annual and quarterly sales cycles, coordinating with internal teams
- Commercial Forecasting & Budget Control
- Prepare revenue budgets in coordination with executive leadership
- Track channel performance and profitability across accounts
- Ensure demand planning and forecasting are aligned with operational capacities
- Agreements & Pricing Frameworks
- Oversee partner contracts, pricing structures, and commercial terms
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and revisions with risk and value in mind
- Ensure contractual and regulatory compliance across all partner activities
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Analyze regional KPIs, pipeline metrics, and sales outcomes
- Identify underperforming areas and execute corrective strategies
- Conduct structured reviews and audits of channel partner activity
- Internal Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with teams in marketing, product, operations, and customer service
- Provide feedback from the field to shape GTM plans and product strategy
- Partner with export and finance teams to ensure proper revenue timing and recognition
- Market Insights & Strategic Intelligence
- Stay current on trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory shifts in the EMEA healthcare landscape
- Identify emerging markets or white-space opportunities for expansion
- Support product launches and regional business development initiatives
- You bring minimum 10 years of experience in channel sales and distribution, ideally within the in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) secto r. If your background is in the broader life sciences industry and aligns strongly with the technical and commercial aspects of the role, you may also be considered.
- You have a solid command of budgeting and financial forecasting, and you’re confident leading commercial negotiations that balance strategic growth with margin objectives.
- You understand the dynamics of pricing models, profitability, and sales performance metrics, and know how to use these levers to drive sustainable results.
- You have successfully navigated multicultural and cross-border business environments and are comfortable adapting to different regional contexts, particularly within Eastern Europe and the wider EMEA region.
- You are fluent in English, which is essential for this role, and additional language skills in French or Arabic would be a valuable asset.
- You are proficient with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms—Salesforce experience would be particularly helpful.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field, and ideally, you’ve completed an MBA or similar advanced qualification.
- You are open and willing to travel extensively—around 50% of your time—to engage with partners, attend meetings, and support commercial execution across your region.
