Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HRBP Director based in Paris to serve as the senior HR business partner for the France e-commerce business. You will partner with local business leadership teams to land global people strategies locally, take charge of organizational design, full-cycle talent management, employee relations and change management, and ensure full compliance with French labor regulations. Candidates with retail or e-commerce industry background are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Business Partnering

Collaborate closely with local business leaders to align HR strategies with business targets, support business growth, workforce planning, organizational restructuring, market expansion and cost optimization projects, and deliver professional organizational diagnosis and actionable people solutions.

Talent & Performance Lifecycle Management

Take full ownership of end-to-end talent management, including succession planning, high-potential talent identification, leadership training & development, performance appraisal management, as well as promotion and compensation calibration. Build a stable and high-quality leadership talent pipeline for retail frontline, e-commerce operation and management positions.

Employee Relations & Local Labor Compliance

Handle complex employee relations cases independently, lead local social dialogue work, and maintain good communication and coordination with trade unions and staff representative organizations. Ensure all local HR practices strictly comply with the French Labor Code and collective agreements, and effectively reduce legal and operational risks of the retail and e-commerce workforce.

Organization Effectiveness & Change Management

Lead organizational structure design, workforce restructuring, corporate culture iteration, digital HR system implementation and retail store network optimization. Drive smooth organizational change and business transformation during business expansion and upgrading.

People Analytics & Data Reporting

Track core HR metrics including employee turnover, absenteeism, headcount budget, employee engagement and retention rate. Compile and deliver regular HR data analysis dashboards for local business teams and global HR headquarters, identify potential management risks and put forward targeted improvement plans.

Global & Cross-functional Alignment

Cooperate with global HR expert teams (Talent Acquisition, C&B, L&D, People Operations). xgjwbzu Realize the localization adaptation of global HR policies according to the actual operation situation of French retail and e-commerce business, balance global unified management standards and local flexible practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor/Master degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration or related majors

8+ years of progressive HRBP senior management experience

Solid working experience in Retail / E-commerce industry

In-depth professional knowledge of French labor law, social dialogue, union and staff relations management

Bilingual mandatory : Fluent French + Fluent English (written & verbal) for seamless communication with global HQ

Must be based in Paris, France

Proven successful experience in organizational change, workforce strategic planning, complex employee relations handling and talent pipeline construction in fast-paced retail/e-commerce environment

Excellent executive-level stakeholder management ability, data-driven working mindset, strong business acumen and stress resilience
