Overview

We are seeking two experienced and highly organised Chief Stewardesses / Head Housekeepers to oversee the smooth running and presentation of a beautiful 7-bedroom private residence in Paris, with occasional travel to the family’s property in the French Alps. The ideal candidates will be polished, proactive, and hands-on, with strong leadership skills and a flexible, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily housekeeping and presentation of the Paris residence, ensuring immaculate standards throughout
• Supervise and coordinate other household staff, providing guidance and maintaining efficient communication
• Manage household inventories, suppliers, deliveries, and maintenance schedules
• Act as the main point of contact when the principals are away, ensuring the property runs smoothly and securely
• Provide exceptional service and support when the principals are in residence, adapting to changing schedules and requests
• Travel to the family’s property in the French Alps when required, to assist with seasonal openings, preparation, or guest stays
• Book appointments, liaise with contractors, and oversee household administration
• Offer front-of-house support, greeting guests and ensuring discretion and professionalism at all times
• Maintain a keen eye for interiors, furnishings, and presentation standards, reporting any issues promptly
• Adopt a hands-on and proactive approach, assisting wherever needed to ensure seamless daily operations

Candidate Requirements:

• Preferably fluent in French and confident in English
• Previous experience as a Chief Stewardess
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
• High level of discretion, reliability, and attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable, particularly when the principals are in residence
• Professional, polished appearance and service mindset

Hours & Flexibility:

• Full-time position; core working hours and days to be discussed
• Flexibility required when the principals are in residence (including evenings and weekends as needed)
