OT/TL/PJC Senior Planner

BWS is looking for a Senior Planner with an Oil & Gas experience background and knowledge of projects and/or major shutdowns.

The service holder shall:

• Develop different studies from different phases such as conceptual, pre-projects, Pre-FEED, front end development FEED & Execution phases based on the development of the One Tech portfolio projects for the energy transition strategy of the Company.
• Support synergy identification between all the projects likely to save time (example: group purchase of equipment, contractual strategies), based on the project description elements prepared by the projects/LBU/sites and on the projects schedule among others.
• Control and monitor the studies, projects portfolio during all different phases from development to execution, including update from the work done on sites (if applicable) and the project teams, as per example scheduling and progress measurement for purchasing milestones like preparation PO’s, Long Lead Items and Calls For Tender for services and execution, and project decision Gates.
• Challenge the schedule from contractors proposals/sites and in particularly related bidders for calls for tender (CFT) activities and during the execution in close joint work with the Task Force upon request.
• Perform memo and reporting on a regular basis in coordination with architects and head of planning & risk management entity.

The service holder shall also be in charge of the integration of all local or specific sites activities / key milestones related to the brownfield constraints of the related studies/projects/programs and to assist the task force in any decision relating to risk and planning issues.

ACTIVITIES

• Provide assistance to the plannings and risks management services for all matters related to scheduling, progress & reporting, and to manage all these activities in close coordination with projects/LBU/sites, stakeholders and/or contractor(s).
• Work in close cooperation with the stakeholders, to develop and study various schedules scenarios for during development phases with earliest date, as main driver.
• Develop the integrated project portfolio schedule with the various interfaces: other OneTech projects on site, to review and challenge the schedule issued by projects/LBU/site and the contractor(s).
• Participate in preparation of various CFT dossiers (such as exhibits C&G) with regards to schedule, reporting and WBS.
• Liaise with other project construction departments to seek advice and support as and when required.
• Update, complete and review weekly and monthly reports structures complying with internal needs.
• Timely report to head of planning & risk management, highlighting progress, opportunities and encountered areas of concern.
• Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regards H3SE and H3SE rules implementation.
• Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regards to Ethics and project “code of conduct” policy.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, and other external stakeholders as required.
• Carry out any other duties or tasks that may be required by the position.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Degree: Engineer (or equivalent formal qualification) in a recognized Engineering discipline
• Minimum 10–20 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry with similar complex projects
• Perfect knowledge of Primavera requested
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• English as mother tongue or fluent in English (speaking and writing)
