Today, we're recruiting an Editorial Manager for our client, Chain of Events , the company behind the events where the people shaping technology actually meet — based in Paris.

About the company

Chain of Events runs three summits, all in Paris, all within the same week:

• Signal Week — the institutional summit for digital assets. Founded in 2019 as Paris Blockchain Week and elevated to Signal Week in 2026, it draws 10,000+ attendees from 100+ countries, roughly 70% of them C-suite. Its last edition convened 250+ banks and financial institutions, over $50T in assets under management, and 70 government officials and regulators — BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity, BNY Mellon, Citi, the London Stock Exchange, ESMA and the European Commission among them. The thesis: TradFi and digital assets are no longer two industries but one financial system being rebuilt on shared rails.

• RAISE Summit — the AI summit for decision-makers. Launched in 2024, it has grown from 2,000 to 9,000+ attendees across three editions (80%+ C-level, from 76 countries), with 350+ speakers spanning AI infrastructure, enterprise adoption, agentic systems, sovereignty and policy. The 2026 edition at the Carrousel du Louvre featured Mark Cuban, Yann LeCun and Nelson Griggs (Nasdaq), plus the Versailles AI Gala, the RAISE Hackathon and RAISE the STAKES (1,100+ startup applications in 2026).

• MACHINA Summit — Europe's leading event dedicated to Physical AI: intelligence that acts on the real world through humanoids, industrial robotics, autonomous systems and next-generation human–machine interfaces. Its inaugural 2026 edition brought together the labs building humanoids and the enterprises deploying robotics at scale, with speakers from Google DeepMind, Boston Dynamics, NVIDIA, 1X, Apptronik and Agility Robotics. It's the fastest-moving brand in the portfolio, with the most white space ahead of it.

In July 2026, all three brands were acquired by Hyve Group , the global B2B events organiser behind Fintech Meetup, HLTH and Shoptalk. In July 2027, they'll converge on the Palais des Congrès during the exact same week.

The role and its stakes

This is not a support role. As Editorial Manager for MACHINA, you'll help build the intellectual architecture of Europe's reference summit on Physical AI. You're expected to have opinions on topics, spot the right voices, and shape the conversations that matter — from early programme conception all the way to live delivery.

Your missions:

Programme strategy & editorial conception

• Contribute to MACHINA's editorial vision: key themes, open questions and narrative arcs that resonate with a senior audience.

• Research and map the landscape — models, enterprise adoption, regulation, investment trends — to surface timely topics and underexplored angles.

• Propose and structure sessions, panels and formats that create real intellectual value, not just brand visibility.

Speaker research & outreach

• Build and maintain target lists of high-calibre speakers: researchers, enterprise leaders, policymakers, founders and investors.

• Write personalised outreach and own the relationship through to confirmation.

• Brief confirmed speakers so their sessions match the programme's editorial intent.

Content production & coordination

• Draft session descriptions and programme copy that reflect MACHINA's tone and ambition.

• Work with Marketing so speakers and sessions are represented accurately and compellingly.

• Work with Sales to integrate sponsored speaking slots while protecting editorial integrity.

On-site delivery

• Support speakers on site: briefings, backstage coordination, smooth panel delivery.

• Help orchestrate the live agenda and handle last-minute changes with composure.

Growth & learning

• Real editorial ownership: your research and outreach directly shape the MACHINA programme.

• Direct mentorship from senior content and editorial professionals.

• Access to some of the most influential AI and robotics leaders, founders and researchers in the world.

Your future team

You'll report to the Head of Content and work closely with the Co-founders across the full editorial cycle. Day to day, you'll collaborate with the Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams across Chain of Events. The environment is fast-paced, multicultural and entrepreneurial — initiative is expected, not just encouraged.

About you

• Native or full professional fluency in English (French is a plus, other languages welcome).

• A genuine, demonstrable interest — ideally expertise — in Robotics and Embodied AI: you follow the field, have opinions and can hold a substantive conversation about it.

• Familiarity with the ecosystem: key players, funding dynamics, enterprise deployment patterns, policy debates.

• Strong research and analytical writing skills: you synthesise complex topics and communicate them clearly.

• Previous experience in editorial, content strategy, journalism or events.

• Comfortable with senior stakeholders — C-level executives and prominent researchers — and good at building relationships with busy, selective people.

• You think editorially: not just "who should we invite?" but "what conversation do we want to create?"

• Structured, proactive and at ease with pace and some ambiguity.

Recruitment process

• Screening Interview (30 min): first conversation about your background and motivations.

• Hiring Manager Interview (30 min): deep-dive with the hiring manager on the role and your experience.

• Use Case (60–90 min): a practical exercise, presented and discussed with the team.
