Greenly was founded in 2019 by Alexis , Matthieu and Arnaud with one mission: make carbon management as essential as financial management .

Today, we are a global leader in carbon accounting , proudly B-Corp certified and part of the French Tech 120 . Our climate suite combines smart data collection with intuitive automation, helping companies measure, reduce, and report their emissions with ease — supported at every step by our in-house climate experts.

More than 3,500 companies in 20+ countries use Greenly to manage their climate strategy: from carbon assessments and life-cycle analyses to SBTi trajectories and compliance with CSRD and CBAM.

We are now a team of 200+ people from 40+ nationalities , based in Paris, London, Barcelona, and New York.

To date, we’ve tracked over 200 million tons of CO₂ through our platform. Our next milestone: 10,000 clients and one billion tons of CO2 under management .

About the role

Join our Finance Team and step into a role where spreadsheets meet strategy, and where your impact is anything but invisible. You won’t just “do accounting”, you’ll help build and scale the financial engine that keeps Greenly moving. If you secretly enjoy bringing order to chaos and get a little thrill from a perfectly reconciled account… we should talk.

✨ What you’ll own (aka your playground):

Keep supplier invoices flowing like a well-oiled machine: clean, accurate, and always on time

• Reconcile bank accounts so flawlessly it feels almost satisfying

• Be a key player in monthly closings (yes, we make them as smooth as possible) ️

• Spot inefficiencies and fix them before anyone else even notices

• Help us scale - because we’re growing fast, and we want you along for the ride

What your days will look like :

No two days are the same, but they’ll all keep you on your toes (in a good way):

• Receivables: Turn payment chasing into a fine art: optimize tools, refine processes, and make late payments… less of a thing ️

• Collaboration: Work across teams and become everyone’s favorite finance partner (yes, it’s possible)

• Closures & audits: Bring structure, calm, and control to closings - and confidently lead the way with external partners

• Invoicing: Make it fast, flawless, and increasingly automated (because manual work is so last season)

• Payables & expenses: Keep payments sharp and reimbursements painless

• Responsible purchasing: Make smarter, more sustainable spending decisions

• IT asset management: Keep track of all things tech - no laptop left behind

Skills to succeed

What makes you you

• You’ve got solid experience in accounting or finance, and you’re ready to level up

• You mix sharp business thinking with a “let’s get it done” attitude

• You communicate clearly and actually enjoy working with other teams ️

• You thrive when things move fast (and you don’t panic when Slack gets busy)

• You’re curious, love learning, and see feedback as fuel, not friction

• You’re fluent in French and English (C1 level)
