Do you have an advanced degree in one of the social sciences – ideally economics, finance or statistics? Are you experienced within an international organisation, finance body or research centre? Then you can analyse key economic issues to support decision-making for a multilateral development bank with a unique social mandate.

In this crucial role, you will apply economic and statistical models and develop analytical frameworks and empirical foundations to draft reports that address our social and economic policy interactions. In particular, you will prepare key briefings, speeches and PowerPoint presentations on macroeconomic, EU and socioeconomic issues for the Governor and Vice-Governors, giving you an exceptionally high profile. At the same time, you will contribute to our annual reports, support external communications including workshops, fora and seminars, and liaise constantly with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, so every day will bring different challenges.

To join us, you should bring:

• Sound knowledge of economics;
• Proven ability to identify, analyse and consolidate large volumes of data and draft economic publications;
• Expert command of IT tools for data analysis and economic modelling;
• Deep knowledge of international political, economic, social and cultural affairs;
• Full fluency in English or French, backed by some command of the other language.
