Context

Reporting directly to the Head of Data your mission will be to maximize the value of our proprietary database by :

- Enriching our database with internal and external data,

- Proposing new data services or insights and usage for our customers and partners,

- Packaging new data offerings.

Your responsibilities

As a Data Strategy & Monetization Lead , you will be instrumental in the development of new data-driven products that will shape the future of our fintech. Your core contribution will involve building foundational data capabilities for :

- Loyalty programs designed to deepen customer engagement,

- Data monetization strategies, primarily through optimized lead reselling,

- Generating precise customer insights that empower our business partners.

To achieve this , you will:

- Enrich our data assets, with a strong focus on leveraging our extensive PSD2 transaction data to extract maximum value,

- Explore new source of data or partnership to add value to our proprietary database,

- Perform advanced customer segmentation to enable highly targeted and personalized initiatives across all new product offerings,

- Ensure all data practices are conducted with the highest standards of ethics and compliance, particularly given the sensitive nature of financial data,

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to rigorously track the adoption, engagement, and overall success of new products and features.

You will collaborate closely with all stakeholders , by clearly and concisely presenting complex analytical findings and model results to both technical and non-technical audiences :

- Our Product and Business Development teams to translate complex data insights into concrete product features and compelling commercial strategies,

- Our Data Scientists in charge of predictive and enrichment models to ensure the feasibility and optimal integration of advanced analytical capabilities into new data products,

- Our Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers to optimize our customer data platform (CDP) and ensure seamless data accessibility and usability,

- Sales teams within Business Units.

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Data Strategist with the following qualifications:

- Education: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field,

- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data-driven roles, specifically in data strategy, innovation, or product development, ideally within financial services.

Your skills

- Data Strategy & Business Acumen: Translate business needs into data opportunities, understand data monetization, and navigate financial sector specifics,

- Technical & Analytical Expertise: Proficient in SQL, Python/R, cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data modeling, and segmentation techniques,

- Product & Innovation Mindset: Drive POCs, define data product requirements, and track performance with an agile approach,

- Soft Skills & Collaboration: Excellent communication, strong problem-solving, highly collaborative, proactive, and committed to data ethics/compliance.
