What you will do

  • Architect, deploy, and manage cloud environments in Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, security, and cost optimization.
  • Lead the automation of Azure Data Platform services, including Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and Data Lake.
  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Oversee and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, automating deployments for both infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security best practices, working with Azure RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Drive high-availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for Azure workloads.
  • Collaborate with development and data engineering teams and stakeholders to enable cloud-native solutions that support business needs.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership, guiding junior engineers in cloud and DevOps best practices.
What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of experience in Azure CloudOps, DevOps, or DataOps roles.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services for compute, networking, storage, and security.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform, including Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, and Data Lake.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Solid experience with Linux system administration in cloud environments.
  • Experience working in azure data platform projects
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
