We are currently looking for a US Store Designer / Chef de projet Architecture US (M/F) to join our Global Architecture team.
This position is based in Paris (75) for an immediate start.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and managing architectural projects in line with the Sézane brand image; working with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners
• Taking responsibility for architectural projects in international (in particular the US market); including both permanent and pop up retail projects
• Providing occasional support on projects in non-US markets as needed
• Contributing to the evolving Sézane retail concept by proposing new ideas and adaptations of current concepts to enhance the customer experience of the design and functionality of Sézane retail spaces
• Managing all project phases from concept design (schematic phase) through delivery of the final space.
• Overseeing construction phases, including onsite visits, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with timelines, budgets, and brand quality standards (frequent travel to the US)
• Collaborating with external architecture and design agencies, ensuring alignment with briefs, budgets, and schedules
• Acting as a guardian of Sézane’s architectural and creative intent

Requirements

• Degree in Interior Architecture or equivalent, minimum 5 years of proven experience in retail project management, including the realisation of projects in the US in a similar role
• Proven, hands-on experience in the design and delivery of retail projects in international markets (ideally in the US)
• Strong command of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling tools (SketchUp) - hand drawing skills are a plus
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills
• Strong design culture, aesthetic and cultural sensitivity, with a taste for bespoke, high-standard projects and storytelling
• Fluency in English and proficiency in French is required - unfortunately we cannot consider applications who do not meet this language criteria
