What this job involves

The Project Manager - Data Center is responsible for managing complex data center projects, including infrastructure upgrades, capacity expansions. The primary duties involve planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery, on-time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation. Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders,. Facilitate effective communication, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between project objectives and organizational goals.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential issues on project success.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute change management plans to address organizational and technological changes associated with data center projects. Facilitate smooth transitions and minimize disruptions to ongoing operations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and lessons learned. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and executive management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices. Implement strategies to enhance project management methodologies and increase the overall efficiency of data center project delivery.
Sound like you? To apply you need to be able to / have:
  • You hold a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or equivalent,
  • You have a significant experience in a similar role on Data Centers projects management,
  • You are able to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects, from planning and estimating to execution and delivery,
  • You have strong technical background,
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus,
  • You have an international experience and have fluent knowledge of French and English,
  • You have excellent organizational skills, are detail-oriented, can work independently and are reliable,
  • You possess strong interpersonal skills, have an excellent presentation, with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client's representatives, etc.),
  • You are a team player and have a proven track record as a business and team leader.
