SAP Finance Consultant

I am currently working on an exciting opportunity with one of the Big Four consultancies , with the end client being in the Utilities sector , and we are looking for a senior SAP Finance Consultant to join the team in Paris.

The Role
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Finance professional with a strong functional background. The role is more functional and business/data-oriented than technical , with a particular focus on working with financial data, analysing information and producing dashboards and reporting for business stakeholders.
You will work closely with finance and business teams to understand requirements, analyse SAP Finance data and translate business needs into meaningful reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a senior functional consultant within the SAP Finance environment.
• Analyse and interpret financial data from SAP systems.
• Work closely with finance and business stakeholders to understand their reporting and data requirements.
• Design and produce financial dashboards, data boards and management reporting .
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and reporting solutions.
• Support data analysis, reconciliation and validation activities.
• Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Contribute to improvements in finance processes, reporting and data management.
• Provide functional expertise across SAP Finance processes and support business decision-making.
• Act as a bridge between business/finance stakeholders and technical/data teams where required.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience working with SAP Finance (SAP FI/CO).
• Strong functional SAP Finance knowledge and understanding of finance processes.
• Experience working extensively with SAP financial data and reporting .
• Strong experience with data analysis, dashboards and management reporting.
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into practical functional solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior finance and business stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a large, complex enterprise environment.
• Fluent French and good English communication skills would be highly desirable.
• Ability to work 3 days per week onsite in Paris .
