Norbert Health has built the first AI health hub that makes this future a reality. Our device is a sleek, plug-and-play, consumer grade AI powered hub that performs (almost all) the work of a full time nurse, wherever patients are. It can:

• take vital signs without contact in 15 seconds - temperature, cardiac activity, breathing rate, and blood pressure
• run mobility, cognitive, mental health assessments thanks to its onboard conversational and visual AI
• perform medication reminders, or answer questions about the health of a patient
• Incentivize people and patients to stick by their medical schedule and program, and keep healthy habits

The position

What you will do:

• Lead and develop a team of talented AI research engineers
• Develop cutting edge multi-modal AI models for medical applications using video, sound, radar and infrared sensors.
• Deploy and monitor AI stack on a proprietary, multi-sensor medical device
• Select, train, adapt, refine and combine NLP and video analysis foundation models
• Stay on top of academic research to identify methods and trends relevant to our products
  
• Be a strong contributor to the code base, set coding and engineering quality standards
• Design and document the architecture of this part of the code stack
• Contribute to building a strong tech culture

What we look for :

• Master's or PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence / Machine learning / Computer vision
• 5+ years experience building custom-made deep networks for specific applications
• Experience in hiring and managing AI engineers and managing software development projects
• Knowledge of signal processing and computer vision or experience in generative AI and NLP
• Strong coding skills in Python / C++
• Knowledge of PyTorch, Hugging Face, OpenCV and other standard frameworks
• Bonus:
  • Experience in medical devices
  • Knowledge of QMS controlled prganizations
  • Experience with sensor data fusion (RGB, IR, Radar)
  • Experience with 4D+ signals (video, volumetric data etc.)
  • Experience in multimodal generative AI
