Our Engineering team is building the next generation of insurance pricing software, following an ambitious development roadmap.

We're looking for curious, experienced Full Stack Software Engineers to help us continue to improve our recently released E2E pricing platform, expanding on best-in-class modeling platform to provide a live-rating solution that will move our clients closer to their customers.

Your main responsibility will be to participate in both the architecture and development of new high-impact features, across both frontend and backend, and work on complex business logic and large-scale data processing.

Key differentiators such as performance and user experience are integral to our software , continuing to make us proud of what we deliver whilst continuing to provide exposure to a range of challenging technical topics, such as:

• Performance optimization, with very low-latency requirements
• Cross-region replication, high availability, and zero-downtime data migrations
• Responsive UI/UX and modern frontend patterns
• Async / concurrent processes at scale

You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to internal workshops, improve our engineering culture, and participate in the recruit process of new Engineering talents.

We're looking for innovative & rigorous minds that have solid technical backgrounds (and a track record of helping their team grow), possessing the following attributes :

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Solid expertise in at least one major area of our stack , with a strong preference for Angular frontend skills
• Experience building features handling large data volumes & optimized architectures
• Ability to understand client priorities & balance rapid delivery with robust engineering
• Strong communication skills , as well as an interest in gaining a deep understanding of the problems our customers are solving by using Akur8
• Commitment to high-quality code & modern best practices
• Fluent English

Solid professional experience with the following are clear bonuses:

• Advanced CSS and modern UI development
• PostgreSQL / RDBMS optimization
• Real-time / low-latency system experience
• Knowledge of ONNX or similar model-interoperability frameworks
