You will contribute to transforming breakthrough event-based vision technology into robust software products used across PC and embedded platforms. Mission

Design and implement robust, production-grade software across PC and embedded environments. The role is intended for an experienced engineer comfortable with complex systems involving algorithms, sensors, AI or robotics, and able to contribute meaningfully to software architecture and system integration.

Role description

• Design, implement and maintain production-quality C++ and Python software.

• Contribute to software architecture, component decomposition, interfaces and APIs.

• Integrate internal components, third-party libraries and hardware-facing interfaces.

• Develop automated tests and support debugging, profiling and performance optimization.

• Participate in code reviews, documentation and software quality practices.

• Support deployment across PC and embedded targets.

• Collaborate with AI, DevOps and embedded engineers on end-to-end product integration.

Key deliverables

• Production-ready C++ and Python software components aligned with the product architecture.

• Clear APIs, interfaces and integration layers between internal and external components.

• Automated unit and integration tests for developed components.

• Performance profiling and optimization reports for critical software paths.

• Working software packages for agreed PC and embedded targets.

• Up-to-date technical documentation supporting maintenance and future development.

Performance indicators

• Delivery of software features and integration milestones against agreed plans.

• Software reliability and defect rate after integration and release.

• Code quality, test coverage and effectiveness of code reviews.

• Performance against agreed latency, CPU/GPU, memory or throughput targets where applicable.

Profile

• Minimum experience — 6 years — At least six years of professional software development experience.

• Modern C++ — strong requirement — Strong programming experience with maintainable, performant and production-quality software.

• Inter-process communication and memory management/optimization — strong requirement

• Python — desirable — Good development skills for applications, algorithms, tooling, tests and integration.

• Software architecture — strong requirement — Ability to understand and contribute to modular architecture, APIs, interfaces and component design.

• Software engineering best practices — required — Git, code reviews, automated testing, debugging, profiling, documentation and quality practices.

• DevOps / CI-CD — desirable — Familiarity with automated builds, tests, packaging, deployment and release processes.

• Computer vision / AI — desirable — Basic knowledge or practical experience with image processing, computer vision, machine learning or AI-based applications.

• Robotics / embedded systems — strong advantage — Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, sensors, embedded Linux or constrained computing platforms.

• System integration mindset — required — Comfort integrating software components, libraries, hardware interfaces and external technologies into embedded systems (ARM architecture).

Fluency in French and English
