Internship - ESG Capital Market Strategies (H/F) - September 2026

Missions :

At Tikehau Capital, ESG is an essential element in the decision-making process, embedded in the fundamental analysis of our investment teams. It is also a progressive approach, and we need to add more strength to the ESG team. This position is an opportunity to be part of a growing alternative asset manager and work with portfolio managers and research teams on various ESG topics.

The intern will assist the team in its primary missions, including the following:

• Participate in the reporting exercises (SFDR periodic reporting, ISR reports and Impact report, annual report, etc).
• Assist the team in ESG analysis (ESG scoring, monitoring of SRI criteria, benchmarking, monitoring of the decarbonization targets, etc).
• Assist the team in completing due diligence questionnaires.
• Assist the team in the preparation and production of presentations, legal and marketing materials.
• Support the team’s effort and contribution to strengthening the department. This involves refining tools, implementing efficient processes, providing training initiatives and bolster the team’s research capacities by contributing to know-how and content on specific sectors and/or topics.
• Participate in engagement efforts with the research team for priority portfolio companies on impact, ESG and controversy topics.
• The intern missions will also include project management.

Group-level missions:

• Participate in the implementation of cross-functional ESG projects, in particular on biodiversity and climate issues.
• Participate in Group reporting and regulatory publications (Climate report, UN PRI reporting)

Le stagiaire assistera l'équipe dans ses missions principales, comprenant :

• Participation aux exercices de reporting (rapports périodiques SFDR, rapports ISR et rapports d'impact, rapport annuel, etc.).
• Aide à l'analyse ESG (notation ESG, suivi des critères ISR, comparaison, suivi des objectifs de décarbonation, etc.).
• Assistance à la complétion des questionnaires de due diligence.
• Aide à la préparation et la production de présentations, de documents légaux et marketing.
• Participation aux efforts de l'équipe et contribution au renforcement du département : amélioration des outils, mise en œuvre des processus efficaces, propositions d’initiatives de formation, et renforcement des capacités de recherche de l'équipe en contribuant au savoir-faire et au contenu sur des secteurs et/ou des thèmes spécifiques.
• Participation aux efforts d'engagement avec l'équipe de recherche pour les entreprises prioritaires du portefeuille sur les sujets d'impact, ESG et controverses.
• Les missions du stagiaire incluront également la gestion de projets.

Au niveau du groupe :

• Participation à la mise en œuvre de projets ESG transversaux, en particulier sur les questions de biodiversité et de climat.
• Participation au reporting du groupe et aux publications réglementaires (rapport climat, rapport UN PRI).

Profile :

• Final or penultimate year student from a top business or engineering school, with strong academic credentials.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills : ability to approach problems logically and systematically, and to analyze information effectively.
• Attention to Detail : Demonstrating a meticulous approach to tasks, including data entry, report formatting, and documentation, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Dynamic and pro-active in suggesting new ideas : Demonstrating initiative and the ability to work autonomously, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Possessing a strong sense of urgency and a focus on achieving results.
• Excellent command of MS Office : in particular Excel (ability to use formulas and to manage large files) and Powerpoint, and ability to quickly learn new software tools or platforms used within the organization.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken)
• A keen interest in ESG and sustainable development issues.
• Solid understanding of -and interest in- capital markets.

• Excellente maîtrise de MS Office : en particulier Excel (capacité à utiliser des formules et à gérer de gros fichiers) et Powerpoint, et capacité à apprendre rapidement de nouveaux outils logiciels ou plateformes utilisés au sein de l'organisation.
• Excellentes compétences en communication et en travail d'équipe.
• Maîtrise courante de l'anglais et du français (écrit et oral).
• Un vif intérêt pour les questions ESG et le développement durable.
• Compréhension solide - et intérêt pour - les marchés financiers.
