Your Missions

Pelico is hiring a VIE Forward Deployed Engineer, a hands-on builder working at the intersection of data engineering, AI, and customer problem-solving. This role combines Python/SQL development with an AI-driven approach to real-world operational challenges.

You’ll work closely with Pelico’s team and enterprise customers to support AI implementations: helping build data pipelines, automate workflows, and deploy AI-powered solutions that improve operational performance.

This is a highly technical and ownership-driven internship. You’ll contribute to real production projects, interact with customers, and support both product and delivery efforts.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with customers to understand their systems (ERP, MES, PLM…) and translate business needs into data models

• Contribute to end-to-end deployments: data ingestion, modeling, pipeline development, and rollout

• Build data transformations using Python (Pandas) and LLM APIs to clean and structure complex datasets

• Support the design and maintenance of data infrastructure (cloud platforms such as Azure, data lakes, databases, etc.)

• Prototype internal tools and AI-driven workflows to improve delivery efficiency

• Assist sales and customer success teams on technical topics (demos, scoping, implementation support)

• Contribute to product improvements by identifying opportunities for automation and scalability

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field .

• 1–3 years of relevant experience (internships or first job) in software development, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment.

• Eligible for the V.I.E. program (French or EU citizen, aged 18–28, registered on mon-vie-via.businessfrance.fr ).
