QA Automation Engineer EMEA (F/M/D)

You will be part of the infrastructure team. Reporting to Flowdesk's Lead of Infrastructure and in permanent interaction with the Engineering/Trading/Data teams , your mission is to improve, scale, and maintain Flowdesk's infrastructures.

We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our EMEA team and help us scale testing across platforms that power high-performance trading in real time. If you join us, your mission will be...

Automation Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for backend and frontend applications.
• Ensure deep test coverage for APIs, UI components, WebSockets, and real-time messaging systems like NATS.
• Develop and evolve integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites tailored for complex trading workflows.
• Embed test automation in CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable deployments.
• Continuously refine the QA automation strategy, championing best practices in code quality and test reliability.

Collaboration & Quality Culture

• Work closely with engineers and DevOps to identify, track, and resolve bugs early in the development cycle.
• Reduce manual testing load and speed up release cycles through smart automation.
• Contribute to incident prevention by catching edge cases and regressions before they go live.
• Encourage a quality-first mindset across engineering through collaborative tooling and processes.

Requirements
What we're looking for

• 5+ years of QA experience , with at least 3 years focused on test automation in complex software environments.
• Hands-on experience with test frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Strong skills in TypeScript/JavaScript ; experience with Python or Go is a plus.
• Expertise in API testing tools such as Postman or REST -assured.
• Exposure to real-time messaging systems like NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• A solid grasp of performance and load testing methodologies .
• Experience in financial markets or trading platforms is a strong advantage.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required; French is a plus.
