It has an agile, demanding culture, where autonomous teams move fast and place strong emphasis on process quality and HR data reliability. The assignment As part of a temporary replacement, our client is looking for an Interim Global Payroll & People Operations Manager to secure the continuity of payroll operations across a multi-country scope. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will quickly take ownership of existing processes, identify weak points and drive concrete improvements in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities International payroll Oversee payroll delivery across multiple countries, run by external payroll providers Load and control payroll inputs, and review social contributions and all payroll components Identify and resolve discrepancies and anomalies Monitor providers closely and challenge them on quality and SLA compliance Ensure compliance with local labour laws, collective agreements and regulations Secure payroll deadlines for around 500 employees People Operations Manage personnel administration and the follow-up of employment contracts Support the payroll officer in producing HR documents Update and secure HR templates and documents in line with local regulations Provide support on operational HR topics that require strong payroll knowledge Benefits Manage existing benefits schemes, enrolments and partner contracts Support the rollout of new benefits by country, notably in the United States (including the US retirement plan) Contribute to the progressive harmonisation of benefits across countries Proven experience supervising payroll across several countries, not France only Strong command of payroll mechanics and payroll controls Solid track record of managing and challenging payroll providers or aggregators Hands-on experience with international benefits; US payroll or benefits exposure (401k) is a strong plus Good knowledge of personnel administration, plus HR reporting and KPIs Fluent English, used daily with international stakeholders Autonomous, structured and adaptable: you can take over an existing scope quickly, go into detail when needed and step back to improve processes Practical details 6-month interim assignment, full-time Based in Paris
