Internship - Finance & Strategy (Jan 2027)

Founded in 2017, OVRSEA is a next-generation freight forwarder that uses technology to simplify and optimize international transport for businesses. We support 700+ companies across 60 countries in their international freight shipments.

In January 2026, OVRSEA merged with the Fatton Lyseo group. This large-scale operation comes amid profound geopolitical, commercial, and technological shifts. Our ambition is clear: to build, through organic and external growth, a unified, agile, and sustainable French leader in logistics, capable of addressing new challenges in logistics control, operational performance, and technological disruption.

This merger brings together, under a single group, cutting-edge tech expertise, well-established historical know-how, and a dense network of locations across strategic geographies - with over 1,000 employees, 61 offices in 14 countries, and 120,000 m² of warehouse space - serving demanding clients in the luxury, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food industries. The Finance Team

We offer you a formative internship, in the heart of the financial machine of a fast growing company. Accompanied by Mathieu - founder and CFO, and Ha - FP&A manager, you will have the opportunity to take a variety of operational and analytical missions, as well as in large-scale projects.

Your role in the team

Management control, reporting, business analysis (50%) :

• Preparing financial and strategic reports for all Ovrsea entities and for Fusalpes Group
• Financial planning : elaborate on quarterly forecast and budget
• Building processes to achieve better accuracy, faster and with less effort
• Ad-hoc strategic finance (competition benchmark and sector analysis)

Accounting and Operational Finance (30%) :

• Involvement in Accounting process (ex: accounting reconciliation, cut-off)
• Implementation of new financial processes

Business partner, especially with HR and Sales (20%) :

• You will have the opportunity to work on other projects for OVRSEA (ex: bonus payout, sales performance analysis)
• You will have to guarantee the best interaction with other departments and advocate OVRSEA culture

We're meant to work together if

• Available from Jan-27 for a duration of 6 months.
• First-year master from a top business or engineering school, majors in finance , business analytics, or related areas.
• Native or fluent French speaker, with a good level of English.
• Curious about financial controlling and comfortable with figures and complex database.
• Fast-learner and ability to work on different topics at the same time.
• A first experience in a start-up or in finance is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Experienced with ERP (ex: Pigment) or BI tools (ex: Metabase, Power BI, Sigma) is a plus, but not mandatory.
