Your mission will be to
build, create, develop, reliable and secure tools and
contribute to incident response in order to improve our internal
visibility on attack risks and meet our
legal obligations .
YOUR FUTURE TEAM : We work in a collaborative environment where the diversity of Scalers, combined with a spirit of sharing, helps bring new projects to life every day, advancing our ambitions together.
You will be part of a small, agile team of 5 people including a Tech Lead and a Manager. You will work closely with the Trust & Safety team as well as other departments across Scaleway. The team is currently focused on finalizing its internal stack.
YOUR DAILY ROUTINE : - Develop and maintain internal security tools for CSIRT, and Trust & Safety
- Develop tools and create new approaches to mitigate risks
- Contribute to improving visibility on potential attack surfaces by creating new tools for the SOC Team
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure secure-by-design practices
- Integrate open source tools (e.g., OpenCTI, Shodan, Shadowserver) into our internal stack to let SOC team work properly
- Automate detection and alerting capabilities based on feedbacks from the SOC team
- Participate in sprint planning and agile development workflows
- Provide training and awareness programs on security best practices within the organization.
ABOUT YOU: HARDSKILLS :
- At least 3 years of experience in implementing and understanding SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and UEBA tools.
- Experience in developing your own security tools
- Proficient in development with Golang and/or Python
- Understanding of security principles and incident response workflows
- Experience of CTI (Cyber Threat Intelligence) and attack surface monitoring solutions like OpenCTI, Shodan and Shadowserver.
- Familiarity with IT services like GitLab, Vault, etc
- Comfortable working in a Unix/Linux environment
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, GCFE) is a plus
- Proficiency in automation, configuration and continuous integration tools: Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD (setting up pipelines, automated deployment)
- French and good english level
