Stormshield, the leading French publisher and a European reference in cybersecurity, is a subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Programmes and offers innovative, certified and highly qualified security products at the highest European level for network and data protection. To sustain our growth, we are looking for a Pre‑Sales Engineer.

The position is open to support the expansion of international sales. You will work closely with the International Sales Manager. The role requires a profile capable of engaging effectively with end‑customers and partners/distributors.

You will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle for Stormshield’s cybersecurity product portfolio, understanding environments, identifying needs, and demonstrating how our solutions can improve information‑system security. You will propose creative and effective solutions while identifying new opportunities. Travel is required.

We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in cybersecurity, excellent interpersonal and writing skills, good knowledge of the IT‑security market, and solid expertise in firewall, LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, VPN, PKI, content filtering, advanced threat protection, APT, XDR, as well as fluent English.

What is the job description for the Pre‑Sales Engineer ?

• Present and demonstrate the value of our cybersecurity products to customers and partners;

• Provide pre‑sales consulting by analysing customer needs and proposing appropriate solutions;

• Support customers throughout the sales cycle with deep technical expertise, impactful demonstrations, and recommendations aligned with their business and regulatory challenges;

• Respond to RFI/RFP calls, collaborating with internal teams and partners;

• Organise and lead competency‑transfer sessions: trainings, workshops, and presentations for partners and prospects;

• Design and conduct technical workshops to showcase the relevance and performance of our solutions;

• Lead customer PoCs: define objectives, implement, monitor technically, and present results;

• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams to feed field feedback, propose enhancements, and enrich the offering;

• Contribute to technical documentation that supports sales teams and partners;

• Build trusted relationships with technical decision‑makers and influencers within strategic accounts;

• Identify and generate new business opportunities by proactively engaging with customers’ technical communities;

• Represent the company at cybersecurity events and trade shows, strengthening the visibility and credibility of our solutions.

Which team?

You will join the Pre‑Sales team managed by Farid , comprising around twenty members. All Pre‑Sales Engineers are attached to a commercial sales team.
