Key Account Manager
About the Role
The Key Account Manager - Corporate plays a critical role in maintaining and developing relationships with major Corporate Fleet customers. This role is responsible for understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction, thereby contributing to the company’s fleet sales goals and overall business success.
Responsibilities
Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities within existing Fleet Corporate accounts to expand the company’s footprint, maximise Corporate Sales and increase revenue.
Develop and present proposals and solutions that address customer needs and align with the company’s offerings.
Negotiate contracts and agreements that are mutually beneficial for both the company and the customer.
Regularly share findings and recommendations with the Sales Director.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with with Long term Leasing Companies, Short term leasing companies, Corporate Fleet customers, with a strong focus on major corporate businesses e.g. fleet size and/or opportunities of 250 vehicles+.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with the Sales Director, Key Account Managers and Sales Managers to ensure consistent and effective customer relationship management.
Sales Performance:
Monitor sales performance against set targets and report progress regularly to the Sales Director.
Key Decision Maker Collaboration:
Work closely with external stakeholders within Fleet Corporate Accounts such as Group Fleet Managers, Fleet Managers, Procurement Managers, Supplier Managers, Sustainability Managers and other relevant Corporate decision makers to ensure overall Fleet Corporate business performance.
Customer Support & Service:
Provide high-level support to resolve complex customer inquiries and issues.
Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and timely resolution of concerns.
Collaborate with After-Sales teams to address any post-sales issues and ensure smooth service delivery.
Compliance & Ethical Standards:
Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, local regulations, and ethical business practices.
Promote a culture of integrity and accountability within the team and with external Corporate accounts.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, International Business or a related field.
Work Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with significant experience in Fleet Sales and Corporate Account management.
Proven track record of successfully managing Corporate Accounts and achieving sales targets.
Industry Familiarity:
Deep knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly in fleet sales, customer service, and strategic partnerships.
Strong understanding of fleet sales principles and practices.
Required Skills
