Datadog is building the next generation of Log Management: a platform that doesn't just help teams debug production issues, but also supports AI research and training workflows where teams need to analyze massive volumes of log data, compare experiments, and rapidly iterate.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to reimagine how logs can fuel the next wave of AI research and applications at petabyte scale. You will lead the product vision, roadmap and execution for Log Management capabilities that make Datadog the best logs platform for AI researchers and ML training models.

What You'll Do:

• Be the subject matter expert on log collection, processing and storage at petabyte scale
• Own the roadmap for log management features designed for AI research and training workflows.
• Build capabilities that help users analyze trends, compare experiments (A/B diffs), forecast or detect shifts, and use sampling/approximate analysis to get answers fast at large scale.
• Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver end-to-end experiences across ingestion, querying, exploration, and analysis.
• Work directly with customers to understand workflows, validate product bets, and turn insights into repeatable solutions.

Who You Are:

• A proven track record as a technical product manager independently defining strategy and owning execution of a SaaS product or data streaming service
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of product management experience in AI, security, analytics, or observability.
• Experience in building AI tools, or working in log management, or analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Splunk, ClickHouse).
• Highly technical: comfortable with distributed systems concepts, data pipelines, and query/analytics workflows.
• Familiarity with AI/ML training and research workflows (distributed training, experimentation, evaluation pipelines) and how teams use log/event data to debug and iterate.
• Familiarity with ecosystems/tools like PyTorch, Spark, TensorFlow-style telemetry, experiment tracking, or large-scale data infra
• Strong technical acumen, with experience see discussing architectures and trade-offs with engineers.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-centric
