As Game Director, you will be taking ownership of the game’s creative vision, product strategy, and execution, while leading a cross-functional team toward ambitious goals. You will take full ownership of the game direction, leading the team to focus on the right opportunities while building games that resonate with millions. Your role will be pivotal in aligning creative ambition with market potential, leading a passionate and multidisciplinary team to craft high-quality, high-performing mobile games that stand out in a competitive landscape.

Y our future responsibilities and scope:

• Define and own the game vision and product strategy, ensuring alignment with Madbox’s business objectives
• Make strategic decisions on the game’s direction. Transform the vision into a clear and actionable roadmap with well-defined milestones, priorities, and success criteria
• Translate high-level vision into clear roadmaps, milestones, and priorities, balancing short-term execution with long-term growth
• Manage the leadership team of the project , giving them direction, challenges to ensure they drive the team with care, ambition, and context
• Inspire, lead, and empower a cross-functional team (game design, tech, art, product, marketing)
• Collaborate with other crafts and teams (tech, art, design, product, marketing) to ensure smooth execution and alignment across the company
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and ownership-driven team culture that encourages creativity, accountability, and impact
• Leverage data, market trends, and player feedback to inform product decisions and validate assumptions
• Be the central ambassador of the project within Madbox , capable of communicating vision, progress, and rationale to all stakeholders, including leadership
• Communicate clearly and regularly about the game’s status, goals, and strategy to internal stakeholders, including leadership and other teams

The profile we are looking for:

• Proven experience (10+ years) in Game Director, Game Lead, or equivalent senior leadership roles in the mobile gaming industry
• Ability to create a game vision and transform it into an informative strategy
• Excellent market knowledge in leading production with multi-disciplinary teams and industry benchmark
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills - able to inspire teams and align diverse disciplines toward a shared vision.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, user insights, and KPIs to guide product direction.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to make important decisions
• Collaborative and humble approach, always seeking to learn, improve, and help others grow.
• And most importantly: Passion for mobile games, crafting high-quality player experiences, and bringing smiles to millions
