We are looking for a Chief of Staff to support our CEO and help drive strategic initiatives as we continue to scale. On a daily basis, you will

• Finance and Administration : You will support the CEO in managing the company’s financial function. This includes monitoring the budget, ensuring smooth year-end financial closings, and maintaining performance indicators. You’ll also handle administrative operations and relationships with external partners such as accounting firms.
• Investor Relations and Fundraising : You’ll assist the CEO in managing relationships with investors, preparing reports for existing venture capitalists, and organizing board meetings. As CryptoNext prepares for future funding rounds, you will play a key role in gathering data, preparing presentations, and supporting the CEO in discussions with potential investors.
• Managing Special Projects : Based on evolving priorities, you will oversee strategic development projects that drive the company's growth. These may include cross-functional internal projects, international expansion initiatives, or external strategic partnerships.
• Operational Support : You will provide operational assistance to the CEO and the leadership team by coordinating executive meetings and ensuring that follow-ups are completed. You will also focus on improving internal processes to streamline decision-making and support the CEO in his external engagements, such as speaking at events or meeting with key stakeholders.

In short, you will act as a strategic partner to the CEO, enabling him to focus on growth and creativity while you take charge of critical operational and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

The skills you'll need

• Experience : 4+ years of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, venture capital, or a fast-paced startup environment.
• Education : A double degree in engineering and business is preferred, reflecting the deep-tech nature of CryptoNext's market.
• Language Proficiency : Professional fluency in both English and French.
• Financial Acumen : A solid understanding of financial metrics, budget management, and accounting data is essential.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for financial analysis and presentations.
• Project Management Skills : You must have proven project management abilities, capable of driving complex projects across multiple departments and ensuring their successful completion.
• Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Strategic and Analytical Thinking : A strong ability to analyze complex problems, think critically, and develop data-driven solutions. You should be able to navigate the challenges of a growing startup, strategically identifying opportunities and addressing challenges proactively.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset : You should be comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Integrity : You must demonstrate ethical behavior, transparency, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

The team you’ll be joining

You will work closely with the CEO and collaborate with the C-suite executives to ensure the smooth execution of strategic initiatives. While not directly part of the executive leadership, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating key projects across departments. This position will offer you significant exposure to leadership-level decision-making while allowing you to make a tangible impact on CryptoNext’s success. You will regularly engage with various stakeholders, including investors, clients, and internal teams, to drive operational excellence.

Our recruitment process

1. Initial Interview : Phone interview with our HR team for a first point of contact.
2. Operational Interview : You will meet with our CEO to discuss the financial, operational, and strategic aspects of the role and to assess your fit within the role.
3. Complementary Interview : A discussion with the CTO and Chief Revenue Officer with to validate your fit within CryptoNext’s culture and the strategic objectives of the position.
