[Internship] Chief of Staff
Company Description
At TwoWay , we’re building category-defining software for global investment banks, and doing it with a team that values speed, ownership, and real impact. If you’re sharp, driven, and thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, you’ll feel right at home.
We’re a small, tight-knit team where:
🧠 Ideas move fast
💪 Talent is trusted
⚡ Execution beats hierarchy
We believe in clarity over fluff , shipping over perfection , and impact over ego .
🌍 TwoWay is a hybrid company with teammates across France and Europe. Our HQ is at Station F in Paris, the world’s largest startup campus and home to a thriving tech ecosystem.
Tasks
We’re looking for a Chief of Staff intern to work directly with the founders as a true right-hand . This is a high-trust, high-exposure role designed for someone who wants to understand how a company is built from the inside , especially in a demanding, market-driven environment.
You will be involved in both strategic and operational topics , with responsibilities evolving based on your strengths and curiosity.
You’ll get a front-row seat to how an early-stage fintech is built and scaled. Working directly with the founders, you’ll contribute to real decisions and execution across:
- Strategy & execution: helping turn ideas and decisions into concrete actions
- Product: learning the product manager role in a highly technical capital markets environment, translating trading and user needs into clear product requirements, structuring roadmaps and priorities, working closely with engineers, validating features, and presenting the product to clients
- Go-to-market: supporting sales, business development, and marketing efforts, and learning how a product is positioned and sold
- Market & user insight: analyzing feedback, market signals, and commercial opportunities
- Finance & operations: learning how a startup is managed financially: budgeting, cash planning, performance tracking, and preparing financial analyses and reporting for leadership and investors
- Investor & stakeholder support: contributing to investor updates, board materials, and fundraising-related analyses
- Special projects: owning high-impact initiatives critical to the company’s growth
Requirements
You don’t have to tick every box, but you should recognize yourself in most of these:
- Are a top-tier student (engineering, business, economics, applied math, or similar)
- Are deeply curious about entrepreneurship and how companies actually operate
- Have a strong interest in capital markets, trading, or financial technology
- Are analytical, structured, and comfortable working with numbers
- Communicate clearly and can synthesize complex topics
- Are proactive, reliable, and enjoy fast-paced environments
Previous startup or finance exposure is a plus, but not required.
Benefits
Why is this internship special?
- Direct, daily exposure to the founders and leadership team
- A rare chance to learn how strategic decisions are made in real time
- Broad scope across markets, tech, product, and operations
- Steep learning curve and real responsibility
- Ideal preparation for careers in entrepreneurship, trading, investing, or top-tier startups
Our hiring process
We keep our process fast, clear, and respectful of your time. Here’s what to expect:
- Intro call: A 30-minute conversation to get to know each other and align on expectations
- Case study: A practical exercise to understand how you think and work
- Founder interview: A deeper discussion with one of our cofounders to assess mutual fit and ambition
- Offer: If it’s a match, we move fast to get you on board
You’ll get transparent communication at every step. We want this to be as much about you evaluating us as the other way around.
How to apply?
Tell us why you want to join TwoWay. What excites you about transforming the tools used on trading floors? How do you see yourself contributing to our mission?
We’re not looking for a generic cover letter. We want to hear your story. Show us what drives you, what you’ve built, and what you’re proud of. Make your first impression count.
