Java Web Developer (Vue.js, TypeScript) | English + French or Dutch | Energy & Utilities
The mission involves delivering and maintaining website functionalities across Vue.js 2 front-ends, Magnolia CMS components, and REST API integrations within agile squads/chapters . In this role, you will:
- Analyse, develop and maintain JavaScript Applications ( Vue.js 2 , TypeScript ) and CMS components ( Magnolia ).
- Implement and consume REST APIs ; integrate with Kong API Gateway and RedHat SSO (Keycloak) .
- Contribute to Java 11/17 , Spring/Spring Boot , Spring MVC features supporting the website.
- Participate in containerized/cloud deployments ( Azure DevOps , Docker , Kubernetes ) within agile squads/chapters .
- Deliver and evolve website features : Vue.js 2 , TypeScript , Magnolia CMS .
- Design and integrate REST APIs ; work with JAX-WS/JAX-RS , XML , SOA (REST/SOAP) where needed.
- Ensure responsive HTML/CSS quality and performance.
- Contribute to CI/CD and Kubernetes/Azure -based deployments.
- Vue.js 2 (5y) ; JavaScript/TypeScript (5y) ; Responsive HTML/CSS (5y) .
- Design & implementation of REST APIs (5y) ; JAX-WS/JAX-RS (3y) ; XML processing (2y) ; SOA (REST/SOAP) (3y) .
- Java 11/17 (2y) ; Spring/Spring Boot (2y) ; Spring MVC (2y) .
- Hands-on cloud deployments : Microsoft Azure/Azure DevOps , Docker , Kubernetes (2y) .
- React knowledge is a plus.
- English - fluent (mandatory) both spoken and written ≥ B2
- Dutch or French - as a secondary language ≥ B1
- Contract type: Freelance

- Location: Brussels, Belgium
- Work mode: 2 days per week on-site in Brussels, Belgium
- Relocation: Relocation is required for candidates who do not yet reside in Belgium or its border region.
