About the role:
Embark on a dynamic career as a Sales Executive with a leading European services provider, where your entrepreneurial drive and hunter mindset will be central to acquiring new customers and expanding the organisation’s footprint across Europe. This role is strictly focused on selling services, with a strong emphasis on Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), Document Processing, Mailroom, Scan, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services.
As a pure new-logo acquisition role, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing net-new business in a market with a limited existing customer base. This role is focused on selling services with embedded technologies. You will own the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and discovery through to deal closure, playing a critical role in driving the company’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a new-business-focused sales strategy aligned with regional services objectives, targeting greenfield opportunities and new logo acquisition.
- Proactively identify, qualify, and convert large, complex, services-led opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from initial engagement through workshops, solution design, and proof-of-concept activities.
- Drive sales across the broader services portfolio, with a core focus on:
- Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) / Document Processing
- Scan to Archive
- Scan to Process
- Mailroom Services
- Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
- Bills and Payments
- Consistently generate and build a robust new-business pipeline, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.
- Position the organisation as a trusted services partner by delivering compelling, value-led presentations and proposals tailored to customer business challenges.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (pre-sales, operations, product, and marketing) to design and deliver customer-centric service solutions.
- Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate new leads, build market presence, and expand professional networks.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Utilize data-driven insights and CRM tools to track sales performance, forecast accurately, and continuously optimize sales effectiveness.
- Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and creativity in overcoming objections and navigating complex buying environments.
- Travel as required to support prospect meetings, workshops, customer engagements, and EMEA sales activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development and/or direct sales, with a strong focus on services-led selling, ideally within BPO or related outsourcing environments.
- Proven hunter profile, with a consistent track record of acquiring new customers and building pipeline from scratch.
- Demonstrated experience selling document-centric services, IDP, scanning, mailroom, or BPO solutions.
- Strong ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting to close.
- Experience selling into FTSE 250 or equivalent enterprise organizations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior and C-level.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving mindset, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience in competitor positioning and competitive deal management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams while maintaining ownership of outcomes.
- University degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Candidates must have at least a B2 level of English and be fluent in French.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel across EMEA for customer engagements and internal sales meetings.
