Together, we create a stimulating environment for talented and passionate experts in research, technology, and business to explore new ideas and challenge existing assumptions.Your RoleThe NetOps team currently consists of two people: a NetOps engineer focused 90% on deploying automation tools, and the Head of Run.To relieve the Head of Run and share expertise, we aim to expand the NetOps team with a second NetOps Engineer.We operate autonomously across all levels of our infrastructure, from hardware to applications. To optimize our operations, we prioritize automation, reproducibility, and scalability in our deployments.By joining us, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our infrastructure in optimal conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintaining operational conditions for our switches, routers, firewalls, and appliancesAutomating deployments: configuring equipment and firewall rulesProviding technical support to other IT teamsEvolving our toolsYour SkillsMust-HaveFirst experience in managing intra- and inter-datacenter networksProficiency in IP networks, BGP, and EVPN VXLAN protocolsStrong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and availabilityAbility to work in a team and demonstrate teaching skillsExperience using Python or knowledge of key programming conceptsRigorous, available, and with strong user communication skillsProfessional English proficiencyNice-to-HaveKnowledge of one or more technologies used in our environment, and a desire to acquire or strengthen skills in:Datacenter networks: BGP, EVPN VXLANNetwork automation (Ansible, Python)Metrology/Supervision (Zabbix)WiFi networksLinux systemsOur Technical EnvironmentMultiple datacenters in Europe, Asia, and the AmericasOver 450 network and security devicesAn internally managed WAN networkA secure office network (offices and VPNs)An infrastructure comprising thousands of servers and VMsEQUAL OPPORTUNITIES STATEMENT We are continuously striving to be an equal opportunity employer and we prohibit any discrimination based on sex, disability, origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, race, or religion.
