- Invest cash margin from clearing members with the prioritized objectives of Capital Preservation, Liquidity and finally return
- Manage liquidity requirements of the CCP (Central Counterparty Clearing House, ie. LCH SA) on a continuous basis
- Perform the liquidation of collateral in event of a member default, across all services
- Drive financial oversight by monitoring performance, managing resources, and supporting strategic planning.
- Support the COO and leadership in daily operations.
- Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and effective governance.
- Enhance operational efficiency through process improvements and risk management initiatives.
- Foster collaboration and communication across teams and stakeholders, promoting a strong culture and compliance.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights on cost management and resource optimization
- Be responsible for month end processes
- Ensure BAU support to COO. Support the COO in overseeing day to day business operations, including but not limited to Finance, HR and Team admin
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements
- Develop and track key performance indicators to measure progress and success against established objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Support programmes to improve culture and behaviours across the CCP
- Support the COO with the execution of transversal projects, ensuring alignment with the business objectives and tracking progress against milestones
- Act as a liaison between different departments, fostering collaboration and communication to achieve common objectives
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success and develop contingency plans as needed
- Ensure relevant and effective governance and committee structures operate at business line level and with relevant support functions
- Work in partnership with the Internal Audit Department to resolve issues and manage actions to ensure Audit Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies related to operational risk management and Regulatory reporting
- Support initiatives to improve efficiency of the operations and reduce operational risk
- Collaborate with leadership to foster a risk-aware culture, encouraging all employees to proactively identify and report operational risk
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business management/Finance role within the Financial industry
• Excellent knowledge of MS office and in particular Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of PowerBi will be a plus
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge in technology and operations in Buy-side or Sell-side industries will be a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to question existing procedures, being able to point out weaknesses and suggest improvements challenging the status quo
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and lead by example
• Adaptability and proactive approach to challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English is a requirement
