Internship Assistant City Manager - Operations & Business Development

About Us: We are a dynamic company specializing in nightlife experiences, guided tours, and event planning. Originally based on the French Riviera, we are expanding our operations to Paris. We are looking for a proactive and analytical intern to support our growth in the South of France and help establish/manage our new destination in the capital.

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager, you will play a hybrid role combining strategic business development, data analysis, and on-the-field operations. You will support the management in Nice and play a key role in developing our presence in Paris, leveraging your local knowledge and network.

Vos missions

Key Responsibilities:

1. Paris Destination Development (Launch & Strategy)

• Market Scouting (Paris): Identify the best neighborhoods (e.g., Latin Quarter, Marais) and partner bars for new Pub Crawl routes and walking tours in Paris.
• University Partnerships: Develop exclusive offers for international students in Paris, leveraging your connection with the American University of Paris and other local institutions.
• B2B Outreach: Prospect hotels and youth hostels in the Paris region to establish resale partnerships for our tours.

2. Business Development & Data Analysis

• Market Analysis: Identify new trends in the tourism sector using data-driven research methods to adapt our offers in both Nice and Paris.
• CRM & Process Optimization: Optimize our client database and lead tracking processes, utilizing your experience in project management to enhance efficiency across both destinations.

3. Operations & Event Management

• Tour Leader & Guiding: Act as a bilingual guide (English/French) for our bar crawls and tours, managing group dynamics and ensuring a fun, safe environment for international guests.
• Logistics & Safety: Oversee the planning of events, handling on-site logistics and resolving unexpected issues with adaptability.
• Guest Experience: Provide VIP welcome services to international clients and serve as the main point of contact for complex requests.

4. Marketing & Content Creation

• Copywriting: Create engaging content for social media and blog articles in fluent English and French, synthesizing complex information into catchy descriptions.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor social media engagement using statistical tools to recommend optimal posting times and content types for both the Riviera and Paris markets.

5. Product Development

• Tour Design: Research historical and cultural facts to create scripts for new tours and experiences in Paris and the Riviera.
• Revenue Management: Utilize mathematical and economic modeling to calculate the profitability of new products and assist in setting strategic pricing.

Vos compétences

andidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Business, Economics, Law, International Relations, or Hospitality.
• Location: Familiarity with both the French Riviera and Paris is a strong plus.
• Languages: Fluent in English and highly proficient in French.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills (Excel, basic data modeling); excellent written communication.
• Personality: Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable speaking in front of groups.
