Live-out Housekeepers

Location: Paris (live-out)
Salary: €40,000–€45,000 gross per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, with flexibility required when the principals are in residence.

Our client is seeking two exceptional Full-Time Housekeepers to join their private household team, with each Housekeeper taking responsibility for one of two prestigious Paris residences.

The properties are used only occasionally by the family and are maintained in a continual state of readiness, ensuring they are immaculate and fully prepared for occupancy at all times. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced private household professionals who take pride in maintaining the highest standards and enjoy working autonomously.

The Role

Working independently within your assigned property, you will be responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping, presentation and upkeep of the residence, ensuring every room is maintained to an exceptional standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Full housekeeping to meticulous standards
• Daily cleaning, polishing and presentation of all rooms
• Specialist care of luxury finishes including marble, natural stone, silks, fine fabrics, glass and delicate surfaces
• Bed making and refreshing guest accommodation
• High-quality laundry and linen care
• Monitoring and maintaining household consumables and placing orders when required
• Following daily and weekly housekeeping schedules and checklists
• Updating household inventories and maintaining accurate records
• Reporting maintenance issues promptly and liaising with contractors when necessary
• Supervising external contractors whilst on site
• Working collaboratively with the Housekeeper at the second property whenever additional support is required
• Ensuring both properties remain guest-ready at all times

The Ideal Candidate

Applicants should have previous experience working within high-end private households and possess excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

You will also have:

• Fluency in both English and French is highly desirable
• The legal right to work in France
• Ideally be currently based in Paris
• Proven experience caring for luxury interiors and specialist finishes
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A proactive, self-motivated approach
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
• Confidence using basic IT systems, including email, inventories and online ordering
• A flexible and team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist wherever required
• Absolute discretion, professionalism and respect for confidentiality

Working Hours

The standard working schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.

As this is a private household, candidates must be willing to offer a degree of flexibility when the principals are in residence. On occasion, working hours may vary to accommodate the family's requirements, with time managed accordingly.
