Senior Python Developer - Data & Research Platform

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Python Developer to join our Data and Research Team . The main goal of this role is to build and enhance the research and data platforms used company-wide, particularly by the Quantitative and Trading Teams, to design, test, and deploy quantitative strategies with distributed computation, large-scale backtesting, and rapid time-to-market capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, reusable, and efficient code (e.g., libraries for the Data Engineering and Quantitative Trading teams)
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance (e.g., adherence to style guidelines, code reviews, testing)
• Contribute to technical documentation and shared resources
• Investigate and resolve issues by analyzing root causes and implementing effective solutions

About you

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in Python software development
• Strong understanding of testing practices within continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database systems
