Your Mission

As part of the tech team, you will contribute to Qonto's success by creating the best IT environment and experience for all (1800+) employees, with a strong focus on office network reliability for our new office.

Reporting to Xavier , our Senior Lead IT, you will combine a hands-on support role (as the other IT Operations Specialists in the IT Team) with the ownership of the network management .

You will be involved in the new office network deployment and setup and then be responsible for running it day to day. You will be accountable for the network's well-being : availability, performance, and security.

You will also support Qonto employees by solving support requests (authentication, access permissions, internal tools issues, etc.), managing user accounts and their lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, external employees follow-up), diagnosing software and hardware issues on users' devices, while maintaining a high level of security and confidentiality.

Agentic AI mindset: You are curious and comfortable experimenting with AI assistants and agentic workflows to automate repetitive work, improve standards, and reduce recurring incidents (with clear guardrails).

As an IT Operations & Network Specialist at Qonto, you will

• Support and assist : You will be the first on-site contact in our main office (Paris) for network related issues and you will provide support and commit to continuous improvement. You will also be the point of contact and own relationships with our coworking providers across our international offices.

• Deploy and own the main office network : You will drive the vendor for the network deployment and setup in the new Paris office (Wi-Fi, certificate lifecycle, Radius, firewall management, routing, switching, ISP management, segmentation, ...). You will be accountable for the operation and maintenance of the network, focusing on reliability, performance, and security.

• Operate and improve : You will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents, run root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements (documentation, standards, preventive maintenance, logging and monitoring, patch management, capacity planning, radio audit and optimization, vendors follow-up, ...).

• Coordinate : On network matters, you will coordinate the collaboration between the Workplace Team, the Security Team and the IT Team to help deliver an outstanding employee experience.

• Administrate : You will assist in managing and automating the IT applications, accounts and access rights (One Login, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, 1Password, etc.).

He started at Qonto in 2022 to build a solid and international IT team and to support Qonto's teams growth in France, Germany, Spain, Serbia, and Italy. Previously, he had several experiences in project management, customer support and team management in companies such as SFR, eBay and Apple. Before joining Qonto, he built the IT tools and process automation to support My Little Paris rapid growth.

• Security-minded : You are familiar with security-related network topics such as certificate lifecycle, RADIUS/802.1X, firewall management, vulnerability management, and logging/monitoring.
• Support background : You have solid experience in IT support, and you enjoy helping others in a pragmatic, hands-on way.

• Curious and proactive: You enjoy learning, improving standards, and using AI to work smarter.

• Problem-solving and composure : You know how to diagnose issues, frame options, drive a resolution and monitor for success. You stay calm in challenging situations to find effective, practical solutions.

• Language: You speak and write English fluently.
