Editorial Content Specialist DACH Market (Native German Speaker) H/F

The Climate School is made up of 60 team members across the world (APAC, UK, DACH, FRANCE), dedicated to training employees on environmental issues and supporting the transformation of their roles.

Our goal: to give employees both the motivation and the means to engage in their company’s sustainable transformation.

To achieve this, we apply the same methodology to all our courses: proven scientific evidence, real-life case studies, and high-quality production refined by audiovisual experts. All our content is original, designed by our team in collaboration with experts, researchers, scientists, professors, and more.

Today, the Climate School has three verticals:

Online Training: More than 300 corporate clients subscribe to our training catalog, which includes around 400 videos and related quizzes in 10 languages. We help organizations quickly deploy environmental knowledge and skills at scale. In addition to our off-the-shelf videos, we also offer fully customized courses tailored to our clients’ needs.

In-Person Training: 1,500 people trained in 2025 on environmental and business challenges, including executive committees (COMEX), professional groups (Procurement, Communications, IT), young talent programs, onboarding programs, and more. We organize sessions ranging from 2 hours to 3 days depending on our clients’ needs.

Communication and Engagement: We support CSR departments in raising internal awareness through the production of internal communication content, the creation of turnkey awareness workshops that can be deployed independently, and the facilitation of communities.

We are looking for a native German-speaking Editorial Content specialist to join our team. You will work closely with the Communication, DACH, Content and Growth teams to create and adapt high-quality German-languagecontent that strengthens our presence in the DACH market.

Responsibilities

Content Creation - Communication purpose (70% of workload)

• Create original German content that resonates with local audiences : press release column use cases - event materials webinars etc. Localize examples, use cases and cultural references for the DACH market. Proactively propose new content ideas and formats tailored to the DACH market

• Translate and adapt content from French and/or English to German and german to english across multiple formats including white papers, website articles, products pages, newsletters, social media posts, customer testimonials,

• Ensure brand consistency and appropriate tone of voice across all German-language content

• Conduct German keyword research and optimize content for SEO

• Manage content projects from brief to publication, coordinating with stakeholders across teams

• Engage with the German-speaking community on social media and analyze content performance

Cross-Team Support (30% of workload)

• Climate School german Content Leadership

Lead script review and content development for Climate School courses (3 courses delivered per year). Source subject matter experts, client case studies, and real-world examples. Oversee full production cycle:script review, on-set presence during filming, post-production feedback, translation coordination

Develop supporting materials: key takeaways, quizzes, and additional resources

• Bespoke Course Development

Contribute to custom course creation for enterprise clients. Participate in scoping meetings and client brief receptions. Follow the production workflow: script review, filming attendance, post-production oversight, translation tracking

• Business Development Support

Contribute to RFP responses where content expertise is required

Contribute to growth marketing initiatives in the DACH region: review and or create content for social media emailing Landing pages

Occasional travel will be required to support the teams.
